2008 Mardi Gras Party

Fat Tuesday was February 5 this year, it was a cool day unless you were in the direct sun.
That didn't stop us from celebrating the day with our Snow Bird friends at Silver Beach condominium though!

While things were being set up, people visited and played Corn Hole to win beads.
Players received 1 string of beads for getting the bean bag on the platform, and
they won a long strand of beads if they got the bean bag in the hole.
After an announcement of "Let the Good Times Roll!" Moon Pies, beads, cups,
footballs and more were thrown.
After everyone worked up an appetite catching the throws, lunch was served.
Someone even brought alligator meat. After lunch it was time for the Orange Beach
Mardi Gras Parade.
