Nolan's A Gulf Shores tradition is back. Nolan's has re-opened in Sawgrass Landing on Hwy 59. The restaruant is know for qualitysteaks but the nightclub goes late into the evening with a hot band and dancing. Website

Flora-Bama

Another very popular place in the area is Flora-Bama Lounge & Package. Also known as The Last Great American Road House. See 'Local Favorites'

Flora-Bama was pretty damaged after Ivan, the boardwalks got washed away, but they are open and partying.

Things can get pretty hot at the 'Bama sometimes.

Movie Theaters

Gulf Shores has the Pinnacle 12 screen movie theater on Hwy 59 only a short ride up from the beach. It is located near the Target Shopping Center.

There is also a 15 screen RAVE movie theater at The Wharf in Orange Beach On Canal Rd at the foot of the Foley Beach Express Toll Bridge.

Also at The Wharf in Orange Beach is the Southeast's Biggest Ferris Wheel.
At night it is all lit and a beautiful sight. There are shops and restaurants too.

Across the street from the beaches, the shops really come to life at night as the colors seem twice as brilliant. Most are open late during the summer months.
