Wolf Bay Lodge

It was just before Christmas 2008 that locals and vacation guests were dismayed to learn that the Wolf Bay Lodge had
burned to the ground. The owners vowed to rebuild the legendary eating establiment but everyone wanted to know "When! " Good news. While waiting for completion at
the old Wolf Bay Lodge site, the owners have opened a second Wolf Bay Lodge at Zeke's Landing. Be careful, it's so easy to fill up on the salad bar you won't have room for the heaping plates of seafood. Wolf Bay Lodge makes their own cocktail sauce and it's a horseradish lover's delight. A perfect compliment to the golden fried shrimp. The snapper was grilled just right and, to compliment the snapper, Wolf Bay Lodge's own tartar sauce. Homemade cocktail sauce, homemade tartar sauce, homemade gumbo and sweet tea-what's not to love about Wolf Bay Lodge! The next time I'm going to try the West Indies salad-they pick the fresh crabmeat by hand.
And for dessert, the piece de resistance ( or you-really don't-want-to-miss this dessert ) is the Buttercream Rum Cake. See picture. Wolf Bay Lodge also offers the "you catch it, we'll cook it " option for advid fisherman. Please visit. It's down home LA style-that's Lower Alabama.
